HOW TO WRITE A BLOG PART 2 – BODY

Content, Marketing by Sas Soubhi

Body of Evidence

We have shamelessly used another film title to continue our theme of how blog writing has all the allure of

trainspotting (potentially another film title!)

Having extolled the virtues of a good headline, we turn our attention now to the body of the text. This is where your subject, discussion topic, issue you wish to vent your spleen over, starts to gain traction.

Here are a few tips worth following:

  • keep it relevant to your area of expertise
  • use a language and tone that represents your voice and personality and let the words flow naturally
  • keep it punchy, plain, simple, incisive and non-salesy!
  • regular cross referencing to a developed theme often promotes engagement with the text body

The body of the text needs to keep your train on track, deliver your cargo, help you let off some steam and be just the ticket to engage with your customer base (hopefully you’ve seen what I did there!)

So…all that’s left for a blog masterpiece is the finale..
